If reports are to be believed Jose Mourinho has alerted some Manchester United players to maintain a safe distance from Paul Pogba.

The French midfielder had a topsy turvy relationship with the former manager and seemed to be not on talking terms in the last few weeks. United parted ways with Mourinho on Tuesday and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be taking charge for the remainder of the season.

Mourinho had tried to implement and build his strategy by using Pogba as the fulcrum of his tactics but the French midfielder failed big time to live up to the expectations.

Pogba posted a cryptic tweet on his Twitter account after United announced the departure of Mourinho but deleted it quickly. The French midfielder had been the subject of speculation regarding his future at the club but went on to stay at the Old Trafford.

Now with Mourinho left United are unlikely to let the 25 year old leave but it remains to be seen how the new manager decides to include him in his plans. Pogba is supposed to play his part when United are scheduled to visit Cardiff City on Saturday which will also mark the managerial debut of Solskjaer as the caretaker boss of United.
