Jose Mourinho Praises The Impact Of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer At Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s impact at Manchester United has been hailed by former manager Jose Mourinho.

United secured a famous victory at Parc des Princes as they shrugged off the challenge of Paris Saint Germain to advance to the quarter final of the Champions League.

Solskjaer replaced Mourinho and so far has done a remarkable job to turnaround things at the club.

With the unavailability of as many as 10 players, it looked to be an enormous task as PSG had the advantage of two crucial away goals. But the Red Devils struck through Romelu Lukaku just after the kickoff who latched on a loose ball and slot it past Gianluigi Buffon.

Lukaku netted a second and Marcus Rashford converted it from the spot as United completed a historic comeback.

Mourinho said, “In terms of players, I was immediately thinking about [Dusan] Tadic, because he was a key player in that amazing match.

“But I think independent of the performances, Ajax and Manchester United results are phenomenal results, and if the responsibility in the bad days is for the managers, the responsibility of the good days is then also for the managers

“So for me, [Erik] ten Hag from Ajax and Solskjaer from Manchester United. Incredible results, so credit to them.”
