Manchester United Set Staggering Asking Price For 26-Year-Old Ace

According to the latest reports, Manchester United are holding out for a bid of £150m for Paul Pogba.

The French midfielder seems to have made up his mind upon leaving Old Trafford for a second time and United will comply but only if their price is met. He was already a world record transfer when he shifted out of Juventus in 2016 for around £89m and now he could be the third-most expensive player in the world this summer.

Real Madrid are the most obvious candidates to steal him away from Manchester. Zinedine Zidane is keen on bringing his compatriot to the Santiago Bernabeu as part of the major rebuilding process.

The Galacticos have already crossed spendings of £250m after agreeing on deals for Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy. Pogba is seen as a key long term piece in the midfield spot.

United are not in any pressure to sell since the 26-year-old’s contract is due to run for another two seasons. They have lined up a replacement in Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes and will reportedly make an offer to Sporting Lisbon soon.

The report also claims that the midfielder could be brought in regardless of Pogba’s transfer.
