Manchester United To Sell Marcos Rojo

Marcos Rojo could be on his way from Manchester United as the club is planning to clear deadwood to make way for new players.

Rojo had to leave the Dubai training camp as he was sent back to Argentina where he has been recuperating from his injury problems. The Argentine international has had persistent injury problems since his arrival at the club and it could lead to his transfer from the English outfit.

Former manager Jose Mourinho struggled to sort out United’s defensive crisis as his demand of bringing a top defender hadn’t been met by United chief executive Ed Woodward in the summer.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s introduction has helped the Red Devils in steadying the ship but the club is expected to go deep in the summer to rope in a new defender. A number of players including Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly are being scouted and United supporters could expect a big name arriving in this summer.

The Red Devils need to lighten their wage bill and Rojo is one of the first players to get the sack. The defender has barely featured this term and with Solskajer managing the current situation so well with the existing defenders the interim manager is likely to give his green sanction for his sale.
