According to reports, Manchester United will begin contract negotiations with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer next week. Solskjaer joined Manchester United as their interim manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United’s performances under the Norwegian has improved significantly. They are yet to lose a Premier League game and are in the top four of the Premier League. The club also defied all odds to beat PSG and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

Many have called for Solskjaer’s permanent appointment as Manchester United manager and after Wednesday’s victory at Paris, it seems inevitable that Solskjaer will get the managerial job on a permanent.

Manchester United have reportedly contacted Solskjaer’s representatives and will start contract talks with the Norwegian next week. The club will offer Solskjaer a four-year contract which will see him earn £30 million plus bonuses.

Manchester United play Arsenal at the Emirates tomorrow.
