Paul Pogba urged to discuss his problems with Jose Mourinho

Manchester United duo’s relationship appears to be growing increasingly difficult

Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United in the summer of 2016, on a five-year contract for a then-record for highest football transfer fee at £89.3 million. He left the club to join Juventus in 2012 for more game time, where he established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.

There was heavy speculations throughout the summer that the midfielder’s relation with Jose Mourinho is not good and they weren’t even in speaking terms. However, the France International has featured in all the Premier League fixtures so far this season.

The Red Devils are struggling right now after failing to win their last 3 fixtures. They have made their worst start to a Premier League season ever, and the slowest in England’s top flight since 1989-90, with a 3-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday.

Both the Frenchman and Potruguese’s future have been called into question after a poor start to the new campaign. Widespread reports in the media suggested that both of them had engaged in a row regarding the player’s negative comments about the team after disappointing draw with Wolves.

France Legend believes Pogba is a great player but has urged him to discuss his problems with Mourinho and wants them to get back on the same page.

The former Arsenal star told talkSPORT of the sporting circus engulfing a compatriot in Manchester: “For Mourinho and Paul Pogba, the most important [thing] is to talk to find a good relation.

“Paul Pogba, he fights for the Man Utd shirt, Mourinho is the same.

“So, for Man Utd, the most important [thing] is to win something at the end of the season.

“Maybe they can find the solution, to talk around a table because they are two winners and two warriors, everything now is possible in football.”

He added: “Paul Pogba is a great player.

“He won the World Cup with France, he’s now playing for Man Utd.

“He knows Man Utd is maybe the best club in the world, so they have a lot of pressure, but Paul Pogba is a great player.”
