According to former Manchester United defender Phil Neville, Paul Pogba is the best player in the Premier League currently.
Pogba has been on a different level since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s introduction and there has been a huge transformation in his game as he has been given the freedom to unleash himself completely.
Pogba’s estranged relationship with former manager Jose Mourinho was one of the reasons why United had failed to perform despite having a number of talented players in the squad.
The French midfielder even was linked with a potential transfer but Solskjaer has managed to get the best out him. The 25 year old is allowed to make those late runs into the boxes and with Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera alongside him, he doesn’t need to care more about the defensive vulnerabilities.
Also, Pogba has found his scoring boot once again scoring eight times in the Premier League since the departure of Mourinho.
Neville said, “It was like watching the Man United of old. Solskjaer got the tactics spot on. And right now, under him, I don’t see a better player in the Premier League than Paul Pogba.
“It’s been an incredible turnaround for United to come here and play with that arrogance and spirit.”
