Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has stressed on the importance of winning a silverware this season for Manchester United. The Red Devils are in absolutely magnificent form at the moment and the Frenchman has been one of the best players on the pitch for them so far. The midfield maverick scored one goal while laid off the assist for another one as the Red Devils decimated Chelsea in their own backyard by 0-2 as they advanced to the sixth round in the FA Cup.

Speaking to the media after the match, the World Cup winning midfielder lamented their defeat against Paris Saint Germain at Old Trafford, “Losing a game after 11 games without losing hurts and it’s a really bad feeling, so you don’t want this to happen again,”

Speaking about their win against Chelsea in the FA Cup, the Frenchman said, “The result was great, but we should do better. We should react even better. We made it harder for ourselves. We can control more, play more and hurt them more with the ball.”

He also said, “We knew how to hurt them, (by) running behind their midfielders. Two runs in the box, two goals. My job as a midfielder is not to score goals, it’s more to make assists. But when I get a chance to score goals it’s a great feeling.”

About winning trophies, Pogba said, “All the competitions are important. We want to win something. Last year we didn’t win any trophies. I still remember that. This year we want to win something.”
