Portuguese Goal Machine Provides Update On His Manchester United Transfer

One of Manchester United’s most desired targets for this summer, Bruno Fernandes has offered us an update on his transfer situation.

The Sporting Lisbon player encapsulated viewers with his 32 goals in 53 appearances this past season. He also collected 13 assists in the Primera Liga to justify his giant release clause.

United reportedly will have to pay out £70-75m to sign him but Ed Woodward is still waiting to finalise a deal. Their first signing of this transfer window has already been completed in Daniel James from Swansea City.

Speaking to the Sport Mediaset, Fernandes said, “I know nothing, I will take the next few days to understand what is true. We know that newspapers sometimes have to make a show to move the market and sell.

“I’m calm, I’m at a big club. I don’t need to move, I’m not trying to leave. If the opportunity comes to go to a team that you can’t refuse, I’ll talk to Sporting.”

Now, with Paul Pogba’s United future still very much uncertain, the Red Devils faithful are waiting to see more creative talents enter through the Old Trafford gates. Fernandes is 24 years old and has a big opportunity to succeed in the United ranks.
