Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba is fit to play Sunday’s match against Tottenham Hotspur. Pogba has been playing exceptionally well ever since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became Manchester United’s interim manager.

The France international has already scored 4 goals and has provided three assists in the four matches under the Norwegian.

Pogba suffered a blow in Manchester United’s match against Newcastle and thus did not play their FA Cup fixture against Reading last weekend.

Solskjaer has said that the 25-year old midfielder is fit to play Sunday’s league game against Tottenham at Wembley.

Speaking ahead of the match, Solskjaer said, “He looked okay towards the end so he will be fit. He did have some problems but he came through the last couple of sessions well so he should be okay.”

Solskjaer also said that Marcos Rojo has gone back to Argentina and he will take a while to recover from his injury. Solskjaer said, “He has gone back to Argentina for a while with his injury. How long is a piece of rope? Mentally for him it was important to get away and then come back fresh again.”

Solskjaer will face his first real test as Manchester United manager on Sunday against Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino’s men won the first league meeting between both sides at Wembley back in August and Manchester United will be hoping to avenge that defeat and keep their hopes of a Champions League berth alive.
