£15m Sancho Alternative To Become Ole Solskjaer's First Signing

The latest reports claim that Manchester United have agreed upon a £15m fee for Swansea City winger, Daniel James.

The Red Devils seem to have won the race for the 21-year-old ahead of Liverpool and Everton. However, we can all agree that this bit of news has been a bit of shock.

United fans have immediately taken to James’ Twitter account to notice a post of his, praising the Reds winger, Mohamed Salah. If there ever were anyone who could keep up with the Egyptian for pace, it would be the Swans player.

James has emerged as a terrific prospect in the Championship scoring 5 and laying out 10 assists in 38 appearances this term. He has already won 2 caps for the Wales national side and has played several times for the youth teams.

The Beverly-born winger stands at only 5 feet 7 inches tall but his quick feet are one to watch out for. He is being viewed as a much cheaper option than Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

Ole Solskjaer is expected to be offered a huge treasure chest to make key additions this summer. But the Norwegian has declined to comment on any recent transfers.

“I don’t know how many names have been mentioned since I’ve come in. There are players I’ve barely seen that I’ve read we are going to sign. There’s loads of speculation.” He added, “I can’t comment on every single individual. Many players, as I’ve said. I don’t like when other managers talk about my players and I wouldn’t talk about others, even if I wasn’t or if I was interested.”
