According to the latest reports, Manchester United have been handed a massive boost in their chase for Mexican winger, Hirving Lozano.
The 23-year-old has reportedly expressed an interest in signing with the Premier League giant.
Sources close to the player has told TEAMTalk, “Hirving wants to join United, joining them is as big as a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona to him – he has spoken to Chicarito about what its like to play in Manchester, and Javier could not be kinder about his former club and told Hirving to push hard.”
PSV Eindhoven has set a release clause worth £30m in the attacker’s contract. Lozano has been in spectacular form over the past year, scoring 21 goals and laying out 10 assists in 37 appearances.
He gained the attention of plenty of European outfits with his performances in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Arsenal had considered him as the ideal replacement for Alexis Sanchez and now United are planning to do exactly the same thing.
The Chilean has turned out to be a colossal flop at Old Trafford and the Red Devils are looking to get rid of him as soon as possible. Lozano’s arrival could given Ole Solskjaer the offensive strength needed to push for a higher position next term.
