Alexis Sanchez Eyeing The Champions League Crown With Manchester United

Alexis Sanchez is eyeing the elusive Champions League title with Manchester United.

The Chilean international hasn’t managed to lift the most coveted trophy despite being at Barcelona and Arsenal for the last few years. Barcelona’s dominance in the European circuit cannot be denied but the Catalan giants had a tough time dealing with failures at the top level between 2011 and 2015.

Sanchez narrowly missed out the Champions League glory as Lionel Messi guided his side to the podium in 2015, the year the 30 year old decided to don the Gunners jersey.

United have had an excellent few months since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came in. The former Red Devil has worked wonders with this squad and riding on the current luck Sanchez wants to give another shot this season.

“The Champions League is a dream for any footballer.

“I lived with that dream at Barcelona and saw what it was like. I hope I can win it one day and why not here?

“We have got through the group stage and PSG is next. It’s a big test but it’s 180 minutes of football – anything can happen.

“United is a club with so much history and is capable of beating any rival.

“If we win at Old Trafford and we don’t concede, then I think we would be favourites for the second leg.

“I think we can do that and I see this United team with a lot of chances to score in Paris.”
