Alexis Sanchez Hits Out At Mourinho While Praising Manchester United Teammate

Manchester United’s revitalized form under interim boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being led by the club’s record signing, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez knows exactly why the Frenchman has improved.

The Red Devils collected yet another win against Fulham last Saturday through Pogba’s brace and Anthony Martial’s stunning solo effort. The current United side looks nothing like the timid and ineffective front they put up under former manager, Jose Mourinho.

Almost every single player in the club has found new life under Solskjaer and Sanchez explained how it has particularly affected their £89m signing from Juventus.

The Chilean told the Mirror, “Paul Pogba is still young, but he is a great player, who has to be trusted in the team. Now I see him far more involved in the team and he’s playing well.”

Sanchez ended his goal drought by grabbing one against his former club, Arsenal in the 1-3 FA Cup tie last month. He further added, “ There’s a great atmosphere at the club. About what happens inside the locker room, I never speak.”

“People keep saying the way things have changed is like a miracle, but I do not believe in miracles. I only believe in work and more work – and that’s what we’ve done.”

The winger’s words were not entirely directed at Jose Mourinho but he did indirectly point out a few fallacies in the Portuguese’s coaching style, indicating at how the club was run under him.
