Anthony Martial scored a penalty in the Manchester derby.

The Red Devils were humiliated 6-3 by their noisy neighbours Man City who were ruthless on Sunday afternoon at the Etihad.

Anthony Martial who last game was against Liverpool returned to action on Sunday afternoon and scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of the derby.

The Frenchman was happy to get some minutes under his belt despite the undesired score line on that afternoon.

“For sure, I would have preferred not to score and win this game,” the French striker told Canal+.

“But it’s always good to come back on the grass and score.

“We are really frustrated. That’s not what we wanted to do but this result is the one (that happened) and we are going to give everything to come back for the next game.”

“We started the game really badly and then they were really efficient with the chances they had,” he continued.

“It’s really complicated but it’s like that and we are going to do everything to be ready for the next match.”
