Anthony Martial has signed a new contract at Manchester United to extend his stay at the club.
The forward has put pen to paper to a five year contract which will ensure the youngster stays at the club till 2024. The club also has the option to extend it by a year.
Martial looked to be on his way out as former manager Jose Mourinho overlooked the player for quite some time. But he decided to stay put and since then has been on a roller coaster ride becoming the focal point of Manchester United’s attack this season.
Martial expresses his delight following his contract renewal with the club. “I am loving my time at this club. From the day I joined I have been made to feel part of the United family and I have been incredibly humbled and overwhelmed by the warmth and love of our fans, who continue to amaze me with their support.
“I would like to thank Ole and his coaching staff for their belief in me and for helping me to take my game to the next level. This club is all about winning trophies and I am sure the next piece of silverware is not that far away.”
