Ashley Young Believes Manchester United Can Stage A Upset In Paris

Ashley Young insists Manchester United can get the better of Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Red Devils are facing a daunting task ahead in the French capital as a number of first team players are set to miss this crucial tie. The likes of Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial are carrying injuries while Paul Pogba is suspended after receiving the marching order in the first leg.

The defeat came in the midst of United’s resurgence. United have had a brilliant campaign so far under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Red Devils have broken into the top four and also have advanced to the FA Cup quarters.

The disappointing 2-0 loss stands out to be the sole defeat and Young feels a turnaround is very much possible. “We know what we’re capable of. People can write us off. People were writing us off at the start of the season and people are writing us off now. It’s no different.

“Obviously it’s going to be tough. It’s not going to be easy. We’ve got to go over there, win the game and score goals

“I’ve got every faith if we defend well and if we create the chances that I know we can do, we can win the game.”
