Thomas Muller has admitted that he might leave Bayern Munich this summer – after staying with the German giants for twenty years.

He has made 510 appearances for Bayern Munich so far.

“My focus is exclusively on being successful this season,” he told  Sport1 .

“What will happen in the summer, I will talk to the club and consider my options.

“Then let’s see in which direction things will go.”

With such a thing, all parties have to put their arguments in the pot.

“Let’s see if you can make an agreement there. You just have to compare what all parties want.”

If Thomas Muller does make a move to Manchester United, Bayern Munich will face some losses. With some players on their side injured (Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry), they will need to sign new players as soon as possible.

Müller on the possibility of playing on the wing due to the injuries: “It’s not the ideal scenario for me or for the coach.”

When asked about the squad, Muller had more to say.

“It is not optimal as things now stand, especially when King [Coman] and Serge, two wingers, are injured at the same time. I think the squad size per se was chosen quite well before the season. But we are currently somewhat thin in some positions.”
