Bruno Fernades urges his teammates to play as a team in a quest to defeat Man City.
Man City are on a 21-match winning streak and a win against Pep Guardiola’s men tonight will close the gap between the two cross-town neighbours.
A loss against City would ensure a massive 17 points gap between both teams and would ruin United’s Premier League title hopes.
Bruno Fernandes believes his squad has the quality to beat a tough side like City.
“We know it will be a difficult game, I think it is the team that’s most in-form in the league [City], they have been playing well for a while,” the Portuguese told Sky Sports.
“It is always difficult to play against them but we have our chances, we have already shown in the past we can do great things.
“We have to act as a team, play as a team and win as a team.”
He added: “We have to win every game, we know that. We play for a big team and we know we have to win every game.
“Of course, everyone knows the derby is important for us to win. But honestly, we have to look to ourselves, and don’t think too much on the table.
“We have to win our games. If we win our games at the end of the season and we make it count, this is the most important [thing] and this is what everyone has to think.”
