Bruno Fernandes Has Fit Into Manchester United Like A Fish To Water - Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot is surprised by how well Bruno Fernandes has adjusted to life in Manchester.

The Red Devils spent roughly €80m in signing the midfielder from Sporting Lisbon in January.

He played his first game for United against Wolves last week which ended 0-0. Fernandes showed clear signs of maturity and creative ability that one expects from a player of his stature. His Portuguese compatriot and United fullback, Dalot praised the midfielder’s impact.

“Perfectly. I mean, it is like he has been here for two years already,” the full-back told the club’s website. “He is getting on very well with the lads, it is very good to have him here, it is very good for me, very good for the team, he is a fantastic player and a fantastic person. So, it is one more to help the team.”

United are set to face Chelsea on February 17 in their first game back from a short winter break. There is still hope of a top four finish as the Blues currently six points ahead. Dalot added, “That is why we are here. Man United always fights for trophies and to win games.

“Those competitions, we want to win them with everything we have and the fight for the top four in the Premier League, because that is what we want as players. I think we have everything to do that.”
