Bruno Fernandes Wants Manchester United To Do Better

Bruno Fernandes has called on his teammates to be better after 2-2 draw against Leicester.

Manchester United gave away a late equaliser to drop crucial points away from home.

Fernandes gave them the lead late into the game off of Edinson Cavani’s brilliant through ball. Unfortunately, the lead was far too fickle. Jamie Vardy took advantage off of a Foxes attack, putting a deflected shot off of Axel Tuanzebe at the back of the United net.

“I think you always dream to play every game, when you’re a kid, you play all day with the ball if you can,” he said. “Three games in a few days is more intense – the intensity is higher than when you were a kid but it doesn’t matter. If you have the chance to play three games in a few days, it doesn’t matter who plays, they will do their best for us.”

“For me, it was Edi [Edinson Cavani] and Eric [Bailly, for my goal]. I was saying Eric 50 per cent of the goal and 50 per cent of it was Edi. I will take nothing from that goal! It was a really good pass to Edi, top movement for a striker to come out with the assist and really good for the team that we start to know each other better and better. The next game will be much better for us.”
