Bruno Fernandes has been backed “to take the Premier League by storm” once he fully settles in with Manchester United.

The midfielder has fit in at Old Trafford like a duck to water. His creativity and eagerness to attack are exactly what the Red Devils have been missing in Paul Pogba’s absence. The 25-year-old’s inauguration to English football was prematurely halted by the Coronavirus pandemic as Odion Ighalo believes Fernandes will leave people with their jaws dropped, once he fully gets going.
“He is intelligent, he has foresight, he has vision. He sees what he wants to do with the ball before it comes to him,” the forward told United Stand. “You can see the understanding between him and [Anthony] Martial, you can see the understanding between me and him, so he’s a very good player. And he’s not even settled down yet. He comes from a very different place to the Premier League. When that guy has settled down, he’s going to take the Premier League by storm.”
There have been concerns on whether Fernandes and Pogba can coexist in a midfield setup for United but Solskjaer believes he can. The Norwegian boss plans on playing the creative duos together with a defensive pivot behind them to maintain balance. It could be the start of a wonderful partnership, once the two starts playing together.
