David De Gea committed a special howler last night in Manchester United’s draw against Everton.

The Manchester United captain has been on a lean patch for the last one year and more and it probably hit rock bottom last night.

De Gea’s goalkeeping abilities has been called into question recently and last night was testament to the reason why.

The Spanish numero uno has now committed 7 errors which has directly led to goals since the start of the 2018/19 season – ranking first alongside Jordan Pickford his counterpart last night in a list which certainly no Manchester United fan will want to see.

The howler from De Gea gave Everton an early lead last night putting the Red Devils on the back foot.

Once touted as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, the fall of De Gea has been in sync with that of Manchester United.

He is now not even in the top five goalkeepers in the world and is increasingly become untrustable in goal.

United are already lacking players in several departments and if they have to find a new world class goalkeeper now, it could certainly spell doom for them.
