West Ham’s Declan Rice and Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham are both on Manchester United‘s shortlist this summer

The Red Devils had a quiet January, opting not to sign any new players, but indications suggest that the next transfer window may be quite different.

Manchester United will pursue Rice in the near future, but they will be up against rivals Manchester City and Chelsea.

The 23-year-old continues to shine in that holding midfield role, recording a WhoScored rating of 7.22 this season – second behind only Jarrod Bowen (7.27) in West Ham’s squad.

Rice and Bellingham are both good players in their own right, but it has to be the first of that duo if he decides it is time for a new challenge.

Rice has been one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League for a while now.

The Hammers want to capitalise on the situation and have slapped a price tag of around £100 million on his head.

The Blues are also interested in the England international. Man United are anxious to sign the 23-year-old to bolster their midfield, according to the Daily Mail.

However, the Red Devils will have to work hard to persuade Rice to join them, since he prefers to join his childhood club Chelsea.
