Declan Rice will definitely leave the London Stadium this year.

The 24-year-old midfielder has a glorious future ahead of him in the Premier League and is waiting to join a Champions League side next season.

The Gunners are current favourites in the race to sign West Ham captain this summer.

Despite West Ham’s struggles, Rice has continued to impress with his work rate at the London Stadium.

Ally McCoist believes an Old Trafford would be a blunder for Rice and claims Arsenal is a better destination for the midfielder.

“I’d be really concerned about going to Manchester United at this moment in time, I’ve got to be honest,” McCoist told talkSPORT.

“I think they’ve done really, really well. If they could win the FA Cup which they’ll be second favourites to do and finish in the top four I think it’s a more than acceptable season. I think it’s a really good season.

“However, the last couple of games have just kind of set alarm bells ringing in my head looking at them. I think they’re probably further away than I initially thought.”
