Borussia Dortmund apparently wants to sign Jadon Sancho, a Manchester United outcast, for a third time. With the club’s management facing the possibility of another summer searching for a bidder for their out-of-favor winger, Sancho has turned into a thorn in United’s side.
The Englishman was given the chance to stay at Chelsea longer, but he declined their offer of a contract; therefore, the Blues decided not to agree to acquire him outright. He is presently back at United.
Sancho is eager to leave United this summer, and Ruben Amorim has no intention of giving him an opportunity to establish himself. He still has 12 months left on his purported £300,000 weekly contract.
Sky Sports reports that United is anticipating bids, with the preference for all parties thought to be a permanent move. Sancho is reportedly being pursued by several teams, including Dortmund.
Dortmund keen on signing Jadon Sancho for the third time
With Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United uncertain, Borussia Dortmund is considering a new move for him. According to Sky Sports, the out-of-favor winger is being considered as a possible replacement for Chelsea-linked Jamie Gittens, and the Bundesliga team has asked to be updated on the Englishman’s status at Old Trafford.
Sancho made an impact while on loan at Dortmund the previous season, helping them defeat Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
He ultimately joined Chelsea after the teams were unable to reach an agreement on a long-term contract. Overall, his first season at Stamford Bridge was difficult, but he ended it on a positive note by scoring in their victory over Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final.
Borussia Dortmund may be able to re-sign him in time for the Club World Cup if their desire increases.
