In light of rumours that Borussia Dortmund is prepared to re-sign Jadon Sancho for a third time if he permanently departs Manchester United, the Bundesliga team will appoint a new sports director to supervise their summer transfer operations.
The 25-year-old Sancho gained notoriety in Germany during his four years with Dortmund before landing a lucrative £73 million transfer to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021. Unfortunately, though, the quick-witted winger hasn’t been able to match his brilliant Dortmund performance while playing for Manchester United.
Sancho is still on United’s roster despite losing favour since they were unable to reach an agreement on a long-term deal throughout the most recent transfer windows. However, Sancho’s contract expires this summer; therefore, it is now anticipated that he will depart United as a free agent at the end of the current campaign, with Dortmund emerging as the clear choice to recruit him.
With the departure of their highly regarded sports director, Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund is already feeling the effects of upheaval ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund wants Jadon Sancho
Dortmund is already dealing with the fallout from the loss of their highly respected sports director, Sebastian Kehl, ahead of the impending transfer window. Jadon Sancho appeared to be a rising star winger when he initially joined Borussia Dortmund.
However, Sancho has utterly mishandled his career ever since. Sancho’s career was characterised by volatility as a result of his disastrous transfer to Manchester United. Sancho has since played on loan at Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Borussia Dortmund once more. Sancho, who is still only 25 years old, is struggling at Aston Villa and sorely needs someone to try to assist him in turning his career around.
Borussia Dortmund comes in once again. Sancho has never been as excellent as he was at BVB, according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano and Jacob Tanswell of The Athletic. Should the Black and Yellows run it back?
