Edinson Cavani has reportedly turned down a huge offer from Manchester United.

The PSG striker is reportedly scouting around for a move. He is coming to the end of his contract and Cavani wants a fresh challenge.

With his contract set to get over in the summer, PSG are also looking to sell him and move on. However, Cavani’s first choice of destination is Atletico Madrid, a club who are interested in him but do not want to meet the forward’s valuation set by PSG.

It has seen two English clubs in the form of Chelsea and Manchester United come into the fray.

Chelsea are in need of a striker after Abraham had to limp off versus Arsenal. As for United, they lost their main man Marcus Rashford to a lengthy injury and now need emergency back up.

Reports are confirming that despite United agreeing to pay the huge 360,000 pound salary per week of the forward, plus bonuses and everything else which PSG pay him currently.

However, it is also being reported that despite United being so keen on the deal they have been turned down by Edinson Cavani. The forward is adamant on only moving to Atletico Madrid and does not want to join tier 2 clubs like Manchester United.

The news will come like a flash warning for delusional boss who believes that Manchester United are still the biggest club in the world and yet with all the money in the world they cannot sign a close to washed up striker.

Sad day for United indeed.
