Marcus Rashford was dropped in the game against Senegal.

The Man United winger was replaced by Bukayo Saka in England’s World Cup last-16 against Senegal.

Rashford himself has been on an impressive run after scoring three goals already in the tournament.

But unfortunately, the 25-year-old finds himself on the bench against Senegal after scoring a brace versus Wales in the last group-stage game.

England manager Gareth Southgate has found major selection dillema in this tournament with plenty of quality options available in both midfield and wide areas.

Gareth Southgate told ITV: ‘He [Saka] was excellent in our first two matches, we think Marcus was also very good and it’s great to have him to be able to come into the game as it opens up.

‘We’ve, of course, got an embarrassment of riches in that area of the pitch. But we’ve liked Bukayo’s performances and we think Phil [Foden] and him deserve their opportunity.’
