Manchester United offering Eric Bailly a new contract to inflate his pricetag.

The Ivorian defender who hardly featured this season is set to sign a new contract with the Red Devils who has 16 months left on his current deal.

Bailly believes that the club is trying to extract a bigger fee for him in the summer by offering him a new deal.

He feels disrespected and believes he would never be the first-choice for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Since his move from Villareal in 2016, Bailly made 100 appearances for the Red Devils.

‘Eric loves the club and the fans, his family are settled in Manchester and he’d like nothing more than to spend the rest of his career at Old Trafford,’ a source told Sky Sports.

‘But he feels the club has been very disrespectful towards him and frankly he’s had enough.

‘He feels that no matter what he does, he will never be first choice for Ole.

‘He now realises he’s too good and too young to spend his time sitting on the bench.’
