HE LOVES THE GAME!!

However, Manchester United and France national team full back and recently retired Instagram star Patrice Evra has admitted that he battled depression post his transfer away from Old Trafford.

Evra was a part of one of the most successful Manchester United teams who went on to win multiple trophies both in England and in Europe.

Evra left soon after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson and went on to join Juventus where he was once again a serial winner for the Turin based outfit..

However, the happy go lucky footballer, who is known for his energy both on and off the field, recently opened up about how he faced depression back in 2014.

“I left for personal reasons and joined a big club like Juventus,” the Frenchman told Sky Sports. “It was really weird for me in the first few months to wear their shirt.

“Even if I am a funny and positive guy, I was a little bit depressed for a few months. I couldn’t accept the fact that I had to leave United. I’m a Mancunian and I’m happy to be home.

“When I’m back here it feels like home. Even if I have to finish as a groundsman, I will. United is in my DNA.”
