Jarrad Branthwaite Keen on Manchester United Move, Confirms Fabrizio Romano

Manchester United are preparing to bolster their squad this summer, with a keen eye on improving their defense and attack.

After finishing eighth in the Premier League last season, the Red Devils are eager to inject fresh talent into their lineup. One name that has surfaced prominently is Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.

Renowned transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Branthwaite is eager to make the switch to Old Trafford. Despite the lack of Champions League football, the young English defender is ready for the big move.

Romano revealed that personal terms would not be an obstacle, as Branthwaite is keen on the transfer.

“Manchester United know the player is open to joining them, even without Champions League football,” Romano told GiveMeSport.

“Personal terms are not an issue at all.”

However, a stumbling block remains in Everton’s valuation of the defender. The Merseyside club seeks a fee comparable to what United paid for Harry Maguire and what Manchester City shelled out for Josko Gvardiol.

United, reluctant to match this high valuation, are exploring their options. The Red Devils are cautious about overpaying for a young player who, despite showing great promise and maturity, lacks extensive top-level experience.

With Raphael Varane’s departure this summer, strengthening the defense is a priority for United’s hierarchy. Branthwaite, who impressed for Everton last season, could be the answer to their defensive woes.

His potential to grow and his readiness to embrace a new challenge make him a compelling target for United.

As the summer transfer window progresses, all eyes will be on how Manchester United navigates this potential deal. The addition of Branthwaite could signal a new era for the Red Devils, aiming to reclaim their stature in English football.
