5 managers who can replace solskjaer

Carlo Ancelotti has been identified by Gareth Bale as Manchester United’s ideal manager. After firing Ruben Amorim earlier this year, the Red Devils are searching for a long-term manager. Even though Michael Carrick has now joined the team as an interim manager, despite his outstanding achievements, he is still not guaranteed a permanent position.

After United have thoroughly considered all of their alternatives at the end of the season, a new manager will be chosen. In a recent interview with The Overlap, Bale—who saw tremendous Champions League success at the Bernabéu under the Italian tactician—explained why Ancelotti’s background is just what a team of United’s calibre needs to handle the extreme strain of the Premier League.

Bale remarked, “I think he would do great.” In addition to being the manager, he also serves as a coach. However, he is capable of handling tactical tasks. Although I believe we had a superior squad the first time, he accomplished a lot more strategically during his second stint as head coach (at Real Madrid).

Bale names amazing successor for Carrick

After Carrick’s perfect start as interim manager came to an end on Wednesday against Newcastle, questions have been raised about him. Neville stated in January that Ancelotti could succeed him as an “outstanding candidate” because he can deal with the media, has demonstrated success with a group of superstar players, understands the Premier League, and knows the United way.

Neville told The Overlap, “You have to be pretty special to tick all four of those boxes, and as such, Carlo Ancelotti would be the outstanding candidate for me, even though it might mean delaying his arrival until late July if Brazil reaches the World Cup final.”

He is the closest person to achieving all of the aforementioned goals. Ironically, the club met with Carlo just before he retired in 2013, and we could have begun with him at the beginning of the cycle instead of going through this entire process. “However, at that point, he was on the verge of agreeing to join Real Madrid for his first stint as manager, so what could have been a perfect appointment never happened.”
