Hargreaves picks United team for the rest of the season

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has picked his favored line up for the Red Devils for the rest of the season.

United stocked up on their defence over the summer buying centre back Harry Maguire and right back Aaron Wan Bissaka. However, they are desperately short of central midfielders in the club.

Hence, the former Red Devil star has tried to form a team which is primarily based around defenders. This is the 3-4-3 formation which was famously used by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at Stamfotrd Bridge and it helped the Italian win the league.

“I love Tuanzebe, I think he’s going to be a good player. Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in those wing-back positions is also good,” Hargreaves told BT Sport.

“(Paul) Pogba and (Scott) McTominay can be box to box in those positions. The width comes from those wing-backs and then Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood can play more narrow.

“I think the balance of that team is good and they would score plenty of goals.”

Hargreaves’ line up certainly seems more exciting than that of Ole and maybe the United boss should try it out a few times.
