Harry Kane will most likely leave Tottenham in the summer.

The England captain will leave the North London club in the summer although he has three years left on his Spurs contract.

Kane is yet to win silverware in his career who signed a six-year deal with Spurs in 2018.

Spurs are 7th in the table and are fighting for Champions League spot.

Paul Merson believes Man United would be the perfect fit for the England skipper who will evaluate his future in the summer.

‘You’ve got to think they [Spurs] have a big stadium there, they have to fill that. If Harry Kane goes then I worry for Tottenham,’ Merson told Sky Sports.

‘I would absolutely worry. We saw it with Ronaldo at Man Utd, he wanted to go and he was called in and asked to give them another year, just to sort things out.

‘If everybody is back in stadiums next season then Tottenham fans will want to see Harry Kane there otherwise it’ll be pretty disappointing for those Tottenham fans.

‘I think if they got in the Champions League I think he’d stay. It’s a good club, it’s a big club, they’ve got a great stadium. Sometimes it’s alright saying: “I want to go here, I want to go there” but sometimes you play your best football where you’re happiest.

‘For me I think Man Utd. I just see him in a Man Utd shirt. It just fits, If I’m the owners of Manchester United I think : “Right, how can I get close to Man City, how can I give us any chance of winning the league next year?” You have to go and get Harry Kane.’
