Luke Shaw has explained how Bruno Fernandes is making a difference to Manchester United – on the pitch and during training sessions.
Bruno Fernandes made his first goal on Sunday, with a 3-0 score over Watford.
“He’s had a massive impact,” Shaw told MUTV.
“He’s only been here for such a short time but it feels like he’s been here for a while.
“You can tell he was a leader at Sporting and I think he wants to bring that leadership skill here to help the team as much as he can off the pitch as well as on it.
“Hopefully he can keep that up, he’s not been here long but he’s already shining for us and it’s great to see.”
After the game Fernandes admitted it was a dream to score at Old Trafford.
“This is the day every player wants to have,” he said.
“I feel lucky to score.
“Everyone knows we want to get into the Champions League places.
“I am here to help the team conquer this place and keep winning games.
“It’s what I want to do, it’s what I need to do.”
