Inter Milan looking to sign Man United flop Alexis Sanchez permanently.

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly told Manchester United that he wants to leave to join Inter Milan this transfer window.

The Chilean joined the Italian club on loan in early 2019 and is enjoying his time in Italy with his performances to reflect that.

He scored three goals and seven assists in the last eight games and seems to regain his form.

Inter Milan wants to sign Sanchez permanently only if the Chilean decides to take a wage cut and Manchester United lower their demand of £18million.

Inter Milan chief Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed he wants to sign Alexis Sanchez.

‘It’s not easy, he has a contract with United for another two years,’ said Marotta. ‘A heavy contract and therefore it must be evaluated.

‘He’s a great player and a great guy. We would be happy to have him today, tomorrow and the day after. We are sorry because he is a great guy.’

Last year, Inter Milan have signed Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young and it looks like Antonio Conte is keen to keep Sanchez as well.

Manchester United are only interested in offloading the Chilean on a permanent deal and aren’t ready to see him leave on a second loan.
