Is Zaha ditching Manchester United

With the January transfer window coming up, the future of Wilfried Zaha has been of immense speculation.

It was obvious in the summer when Zaha put in his transfer request that he no longer saw himself as a Crystal Palace player.

This saw clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal show an interest in him. Now Chelsea have also had their transfer ban removed and are possibly gunning for the winger.

However, Shaka Hislop believes Manchester United will not be able to sign Zaha due to how his previous tenure at the club ended.

“I’m going to put this one down as a miss,” Hislop told ESPN FC.

“Listen, he’s had time at Manchester United, didn’t go so well.”

“He’s improved no end as a player since then but given the uncertainty around that first spell and the number of clubs that are interested in Wilfried Zaha, I just have a feeling that he’ll stay closer to London.”

“He’s been linked incessantly with Arsenal, between them and Chelsea I think is more likely than United.”

“Yes [he is going to move].”

The transfer window is less than a week away and the players and clubs should be getting ready now!
