Jesse Lingard Could Opt For West Ham Move After All

Manchester United will face a challenge keeping Jesse Lingard for next season.

West Ham United boss, David Moyes wants to sign the midfielder permanently.

Lingard’s loan move to East London has worked out brilliantly. He has given West Ham a new edge in attack, scoring 9 and laying off 5 assists in 15 games. In doing so, Lingard earned a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad once again in the World Cup qualifiers.

Moyes said, “I couldn’t say any more than I’m hopeful Jesse might want to come here, that’s up to Manchester United, but he’s been a positive signing.”

West Ham United are fighting for Europa League football now. They simply need to collect a point from their final game to stay in the top six. Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are trailing behind by three points.

Moyes said: “We have equalled the club points record and have a chance to beat that and also get European football so I am really hopeful that we can get there. But I am not taking anything for granted.”
