Juan Mata Sums Up Disappointing Manchester United Season In An Emotional Note

Juan Mata insists Isco will fight back from his ongoing struggle at Real Madrid.

The Spanish international has been finding it difficult under new manager Santiago Solari as he is yet to start a match for Los Blancos since the departure of Julen Lopetegui.

Solari doesn’t seem to rate the player very highly and given the current situation things are unlikely to change in near future. Despite not having a number of player at his disposal in the 2-1 win with Real Betis Solari gave an unexpected debut to youth striker Cristo instead of calling the attacking midfielder from the bench.

Recently the manager insisted he doesn’t have any personal problems with the player at all. Mata who had shared the dressing room with the player during their time at Valencia offers his helping hand in this crisis situation.

Mata said, “I appreciate Isco, as I met him at Valencia and I saw all the talent he had.

“The only thing you can do in situations like this is to continue working, to not lose confidence in yourself and to try to take advantage of opportunities when you have them.

In the end, talent always stands out and he has plenty of it.

“I send a very strong hug from here and I’m sure that, in the end, things will improve.”
