Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan is now the talk of the town!
The Portuguese superstar’s interview with Piers Morgan has caused major outrage among the Man United fans and pundits.
The club has already released a statement before the full interviews releases on Wednesday night.
It read: “Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo.
“The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established. Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.”
Ronaldo has taken an aim at the manager and his employers and Graeme Souness has backed the veteran forward for his controversial comments.
“I choose to believe Ronaldo has been mistreated here. I think he has been told a story and the manager has not kept it.
“He does not bring him on against Manchester City out of respect. A couple of weeks later he wanted him to come on against Tottenham with three minutes to go, what can he do there?
“Then he makes him captain, and that for me looking at it from the outside, I think the player has a grievance, and I think he is entitled to his grievance.”
