Real Madrid veteran not interested in Manchester United move

According to sources in Spain, Manchester United is thinking of making an unexpected move for Arda Güler, a great attacker for Real Madrid. A number of Premier League teams are reportedly interested in the Turkey international, and the Red Devils have reportedly made their initial bid.

Guler, a 20-year-old who is highly regarded internally for his technical skills and adaptability, is viewed as a step towards United’s goal of adding energy and freshness to Ruben Amorim’s team for the upcoming season.

When it comes to bargaining for Güler, whose contract in the Spanish capital expires in June 2029, Real is in a good position. Man United has allegedly intensified initial contact with Guler, according to sources in Spain, although a transfer will mostly depend on Real Madrid’s position.

Guler is seen as an important part of Xabi Alonso’s team this season, and the Santiago Bernabeu executives are still determined that he continues with the team. Guler is the Real player with the most assists this season; Vinicius Jr has also had seven in his 22 games under Alonso.

Man United pushing to sign Real Madrid star

Turkish football gave the best insight into the player’s mentality. The midfield player seems content in Spain for the time being despite interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal. According to the source, “the Premier League’s interest has been persistent, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United all closely monitoring his situation.”

“There were rumours that Manchester United was reaching out to the player’s agents more quickly in an attempt to entice him to Old Trafford by offering him a key creative role.” The same source did, however, offer an important disclaimer that could temporarily quell curiosity. According to sources, Guler is devoted to securing his spot in the very competitive Real Madrid starting lineup and feels appreciated by the team.

Guler’s recent non-starts against Athletic in La Liga and Manchester City in the Champions League highlight the competition he confronts, but they haven’t affected his dedication. As of right now, it seems like United is more interested in the long term than a quick breakthrough.
