According to the Spanish daily Fichajes, Manchester United is planning an incredible £175 million bid to sign Vinicius Jr., a forward for Real Madrid. The Red Devils are apparently considering a bold and daring attempt to lure the 25-year-old to Old Trafford, hoping to shock the market with a monumental offer for the superstar Brazil international.

Since the two-time Champions League winner’s contract with Real Madrid is slated to end in June 2027, Vinicius’ situation there is reportedly stressful. He feels his standing warrants a wage that is on par with Kylian Mbappe’s.

But at the moment, Real is hesitant to alter their pay scale, and the circumstances have only made Vinicius’ future more uncertain, with a possible transfer to the Premier League now gaining pace.

According to Fichajes, Vinicius’ complex circumstances at Real Madrid may have made it possible for him to go, and Man United is looking into that possibility, as they want to put together an explosive attacking trio alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.

Considering that Saudi Arabian teams pulled out of the contest earlier this summer, Old Trafford officials apparently think Vinicius might be the marquee acquisition of a new era.

Man Utd ready to table huge bid to sign Vinicius Jr.

With the former Wolves star in the center striker position, Ruben Amorim intends to start Vinicius, Bryan Mbeumo, and Matheus Cunha in a front three. The decision to accept United’s offer has not yet been taken by either Real Madrid or the player.

Although Vinicius is a left-winger by nature, he can also fill in as a CF if necessary. It would be a huge coup for Manchester United to get him, who is regarded as one of the greatest players in the world.

But, before this transfer window closes, United must strengthen its goalkeeping staff and midfield position. Thus, investing all of the money on the Real Madrid player might not be the best course of action.

Although Newcastle, a Premier League rival, made an approach last week, the Red Devils are still hoping to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko as their top priority up front. However, it will be intriguing to watch who the Old Trafford team ultimately adds this summer to bolster the center-forward position.
