Red Devils favourites to beat Spanish giants for Bundesliga ace.

Man Utd set to beat Real Madrid to £41m Germany star.

According to Mirror, Manchester United will beat Real Madrid to the signing of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.

The German international Jerome Boateng has been linked with an exit from the Bundesliga champions this summer.

He also stated his interest to move back to the Premier League.

Boateng said:

“Foreign counties are always interesting,” the former Man City man revealed.

“You do not have many chances. Everyone has to decide for himself whether he wants to gain experience again.

“I’m a different age now than I was at Manchester City and now at the point of thinking about it again.

“Of course, it’s very difficult to get away from Bayern. That would not be a decision against Bayern, I’ve been feeling very well in Munich for years.”

Jose Mourinho now has the upper hand in negotiations for the defender.

The German ace is currently valued at £40.5million and believed to be favourites to beat off Real Madrid, Juventus and Liverpool for his signature.
