Man United interested in Bart Verbruggen as David de Gea replacement.

The Red Devils are expected to announce a new contract for David de Gea who has made quite a few blunders this season.

His recent one came against West Ham United where he allowed a strike from Said Benrahma to squirm past him.

His contract along with two other keepers will expire in the summer and Man United will look for some reinforcements on high priority.

Man United has identified Anderlecht’s Bart Verbruggen as a summer target and is being closely watched by the club.

He has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Anderlecht this campaign and was given his debut for the club two years ago by former manager Vincent Kompany.

He only has two years left on his contract but will be allowed this summer for the right price.

Despite his high-profile mistakes, De Gea has the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season on 15 occasions.

Their current No.2 Tom Heaton only has a deal until the end of the season, so we can expect a huge change in United’s goalkeeping department this summer.
