Man United set a valuation of £40m on Jadon Sancho

Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United are now moving on from Jadon Sancho who was loaned out to his former club, Borussia Dortmund. He recently participated in the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The Red Devils have reportedly placed a valuation of £40m on the Englishman as they want to sell him out during the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 21 appearances at BVB.

Bundesliga giants are keen to give Sancho a permanent contract. They would come to an agreement over another loan deal and than pay out to re-sign him permanently.

As per the reports of BBC Sport, even if Ten Hag loses his job, the Man United are still planning to sell the forward. Man United need to raise funds in order to improve their squad this summer.

Juventus are also planning to sign him in the summer. Sancho was not impactful for United, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in 82 appearances for the club in all competitions.

The Englishman was a substitute for his parent club’s first three matches of the 2023-24 Premier League season. He had a tussle with Erik ten Hag. He was eventually removed from the first-team at Old Trafford. His contract will expire in 2026 and Man United are not interested to carry with him.
