Man United Slash Pogba Price By A Whopping £80m

Looks like Manchester United want Paul Pogba out as much as Pogba want an out.

Because Manchester United just slashed Pogba’s price tag by an entire £80m. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to make the split between him and Pogba as amicable as possible and without gaining much media attention.

With Pogba now priced at £100million, it would maybe get easier to convince clubs to take him on. However, Manchester United can still take him on for one more year, to keep his value intact, according to the Sun.

Pogba came back to United from Juventus in 2016 at a price of £89m, and now wants to yet again go back to Juventus, thus a £180m transfer fee was set for him last July. But with that price, no club wanted to shell that much cash out.

The French international suffered an injury in September 2019 and since then, has only made 8 appearances so far. He hasn’t done much – he trains, he plays basketball and well, hasn’t contributed much to the club.

Last night, he put up a video on Instagram in a Juventus shirt, training. He however claimed that he wore that in support of his friend Blaise Matuidi in the France team.

Matuidi became the second Juventus player to come down with Covid-19.
