Saudi Arabia Prince Doesn't Have Any Interest In Taking Over Manchester United

Claims that Turki Al-Sheikh is in negotiations for a spectacular takeover of Manchester United have been denied. Red Devils supporters were recently enraged by the Saudi businessman’s suggestion that a takeover was imminent.

The best news I heard today is that Manchester United is currently in the advanced stage of finalizing a deal to sell to a new investor,” he stated on Twitter. I’m hoping he’ll be superior to the prior owners.

However, he has since explained the issue in a new post, refuting rumors that he is negotiating a contract. He has also disclosed that the party involved in the negotiations is not Saudi.

“My post yesterday regarding Manchester United’s possible sale meant one thing: the club is in an advanced negotiation phase with a new investor,” he wrote on social media on Thursday night.

“To be clear, neither they nor I are from my country, nor am I the investor. Even though the deal might not actually happen, I’m posting this as a fan who hopes it does.

Saudi Royal Responds to Turki Alalshikh’s Man Utd Takeover Hint

However, a member of the Saudi royal family and a suspected United supporter, Prince Saud Mishal, made a cameo in the reply. A praying hand emoji was used by Mishal, who has a blue checkmark on the platform, in response to Alalshikh’s message.

With an emphasis on investments in retail, entertainment, and lifestyle as part of the nation’s Vision 2030 transformation, the prince is an entrepreneur, businessman, and CEO of Al-Manahil Holding.

He has been entrusted with expanding the sport in the nation as chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, which was established in January. He has more than 30,000 Instagram followers and shares updates on his activities on a regular basis.

Alalshikh expressed his hope that the mystery buyer he indicated will be “better” than prior owners, although he made no mention of Saudi Arabia in his statement. Though the team isn’t participating in European football this season, Ratcliffe defended his time at Old Trafford and voiced optimism for the team’s future despite challenges on and off the pitch.
