Amad Diallo has thoroughly excelled on his loan spell at Sunderland.

The 20-year-old winger has joined the Black Cats on a season-long loan and has netted 13 goals in all competitions.

He has helped the Black Cats into the Championship play-offs with his scintillating form.

This has sparked speculation of him earning a first-team role at Old Trafford in the pre-season.

However the decision will rest on Ten Hag whether it is wiser to send him on another loan spell.

The Ivorian winger was signed in 2021 from Atalanta and has since played nine times for the Red Devils.

Transfer expert Dean Jones believes Diallo won’t stick around if he is not given enough opportunities under Erik Ten Hag.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “Diallo certainly won’t be hanging around if there aren’t going to be opportunities for him.

“And I think it will be interesting, especially in the early stages of Man United’s pre-season, to see how they [Diallo and Mainoo] grasp the opportunities because there are going to be friendly matches where they’re going to give them the chance to shine.”
