Manchester United may make a comeback for their long-term Serie A aim if they decide to weaponize their offense. Ruben Amorim was largely expected to restructure United’s frontline and bring back its bite after the team had a dismal 2024–25 season in front of goal.

Both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have previously been signed to fill United’s number 10 positions. However, INEOS is anticipated to let go of some of their forwards who are judged surplus to requirements prior to the announcement of a new number nine.

It is rumored that Manchester United is evaluating a potential move for Serie A sensation Dan Ndoye, and they have previously considered his arrival.

The Red Devils were one of the teams considering a move for the talented winger while he was attracting a lot of scouts during the previous year’s Euros. during the time, it was reported that he was eager to start a new project in 2025–2026.

In the end, nothing materialized, and the 24-year-old remained in place to play for Bologna in another campaign, this time without Joshua Zirkzee, who was off to Old Trafford.

Dan Ndoye deal on as inside man unlocks Man United move

According to the Italian newspaper Il Resto del Carlino, United is prepared to rekindle their interest in the Swiss forward by making an offer between £34.7 and £39 million this week. Although Bologna values him at £43 million, they might accept a lower offer if Ndoye says he wants to leave.

Zirkzee has reportedly spoken with his former teammate about the possibility of the two of them reuniting at United in an attempt to persuade him to accept the potential transfer. It is unlikely that United will be given a free pass to sign him if a bid is made in the next few days.

Anthony Elanga’s move to Newcastle United brought the Reds over £6 million through the sell-on clause they included in his contract when he was transferred in 2023, and Nottingham Forest is still searching the market for a worthy successor.

They have identified Ndoye as a potential addition to Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad for the upcoming campaign, but like United, they haven’t made Bologna an offer yet.
